I've been trying to link my yahoo acct to my Tivo account for the past week with no success. I get a message:
Sorry, we're currently unable to link your TiVo account to your Yahoo! account. Please try again later or contact customer support.
This has been on-going for a week. In the past my account was working fine.. but apparently a new software roll out has caused some problems.
Any ideas??
Thanks,
tom

I notice this thread is more than a year old, but I'm still having exactly the same problem. Is anybody successfully using Yahoo online scheduling? It hasn't worked for me for a long time. I tried it again today and I still can't link my Yahoo account to my Tivo account.
Anybody know what's up?

For me, some programs on Yahoo seem to link with TiVo but most do not. You will be better off using Zap2it: http://www.zap2it.com/ You can set up an account there that shows all your channel listings and they will all link with TiVo - meaning you can schedule recordings via the Zap2it site.
Didn't yahoo stop linking with tivo? I think you have to use zap2it or tivo.com

I believe you are thinking of TV Guide.
I believe you are thinking of TV Guide.
You're right, that's what I was thinking of.

Ok, it appears that Tivo was doing some maintenance last night that caused the Yahoo scheduling to stop working. I tried again a little while ago and was able to link my Yahoo account to my Tivo account. It appears that Yahoo scheduling is now working. This is first time I've been able to use it successfully for many months, so this is good news!

I've had our Tivo for about a month and yahoo scheduling never worked for me. I tried again tonight. It went through the entire sequence and then printed "Oops! We're sorry, your request to record was unsuccessful. Please try again later."
Trouble is zap2it has also stopped working for me. We were gone for about a week and now all I can use is the awful tivo tv listings site. How much work could it be for tivo to make that site usable? 1) don't always go back to now but stay where I was and 2) allow selection of favorite stations.

Try using this, i cant stand zap2it or yahoo's.
Tivo Mobile (http://m.tivo.com/)
IMO it works better/faster than the main tivo site for it..

I can't find a grid at all with tivo mobile. I prefer to work from a grid. I'm learning more and more that my brain doesn't work like a Tivo...
