Want to use my series 2 tivo in my rv connected to pc monitor, either dmi or vga?

Im going South for the rest of the winter and want to keep things light in my rv. I was thinking of bringing my Dell lcd monitor to use as my tv with my tivo as a tuner. My monitor has both dvi and vga inputs. Im wondering if a cable to connect my tivo (component out) to my monitor (either input) would work or if I have to get some device to convert the signal. Otherwise I have to bring a regular tv and dont have room for the tivo.

oops, thats supposed to be dVi.

You can get video to VGA convertors, which are active boxes. You might be just as happy getting an actual LCD TV though.
