I have DirecTV/Tivo...
I love it and have had no problems with anything until now.
During the Christmas holidays I have had a sporadic problem with watching LIVE TV and then deciding to record while watching the show.
When I decide to record and press the record button... The Tivo acts like its going through the process to record, but the red light doesn't come on - thus my request is thwarted.
I tried again, but with the show menu up - still no recording. I reset the box still sporadic problems.
The pre-recorded shows are recording without problems, but I am currently having problems with "LIVE" commands to record.
I was thinking that it was probably the memory (I have 70 hours). I have 30 hours of recorded shows and a slew in the to do category, but this cannot be the problem - can it?
I have never had a prblm b4 - HELP!!!!!!
