A few months down the road, I will be discontinuing services with DirecTV and joining up with Comcast because I'm tired of the service, lies and products (especially the DirecTV's DVR's). I don't know what I was thinking that the HR2X series recorders would be fine. They stink. So, it's back to TiVo for me!:up:

I was so fed up with their HD DVR that I paid the early termination fee just to get it done and over with.

If they ever come up with a way to get a S3 (or future HD TiVo that has the same feature set as the stand-alone TiVos) to work with their service, I'd consider switching back.

It's really not the receiver I'm pissed at, even though it does stink!:D.

It's more leaned towards the customer service at this point.
