Tivo to go Windows Media Player blank screen and no sound

I have no sound or picture in Windows Media Player when playing .tivo files. What do I need to get this to work?

Have you correctly installed TiVo Desktop and configured with your MAK key?
Do you have an MPEG-2 Codec installed (usually from DVD player software)?
