strange TIVO sounds

I have an S3 for over a year now. Suddenly, the Tivo 'bloop' sounds now have a reverberation/echo. Not that I mind too much, but it's strange. I can't find a setting for this. Is this a known issue?

If you are using a surround receiver, many settings on these will add some reverb/delay to everything to simulate a larger room. I notice this with my surround receiver.
Or perhaps you have accidentally turned on the hidden 'virtual surround' setting :)
If it's just the Tivo, try a reset ?
