No video via HDMI on my Onlyo 675 receiver

I have a Panasonic TH42PX600U plasma TV, and recently got the new Tivo HD unit. I am using Gefen HDMI over CAT5 baulms to get HDMI from my receiver to my TV. I will be adding a Toshiba A-3 HD DVD player if I can fix this issue.

I have always had flickering issues on my TV when my AC, stove, or heater turns on, which has annoyed my for the last year or so. I know my CAT5 runs are near some power in my walls. I thought the most likely culprite was interference. I ordered a RapidRun runner cable with a passive, and active wall plate. Once I got the RapidRun cable I ran it across my floor from my Tivo to my TV. I have no video issues, and the Tivo displays fine on my TV. However when I hookup my new RapidRun cable to the HDMI output on my receiver, then go through my receiver with the Tivo I get no video to my TV.

It doesn't appear to be the RapidRun cable as it works when I plug the Tivo directly into the RapidRun cable to the TV it works. It doesn't appear to be the receiver, as I can use HDMI via baulms.

I am at a loss on what the issue could be, or how to troubleshoot it. I called Onkyo, and they tell me it is a bad cable, which I disagree with. Does anyone have a similar setup, and does it work for you? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Dumb question, but I gotta ask, have you ever gotten the Tivo working with HDMI routed through your receiver?

I can get my Tivo to work via HDMI when I plug my Tivo into the receiver via HDMI, run the HDMI output from the receiver to my TV via my Gefen baulms that convert the HDMI over CAT5, and then back to HDMI. I can also run the Tivo directly to my TV over my RapidRun cable bypassing the receiver, and the Tivo works fine. Hopefully that makes sense?

So the problem only happens when you are running HDMI through your receiver.
Are you sure that your receiver supports HDCP?

The manual for my receiver says it does support HDCP. Running my Tivo via HDMI to my receiver, then from my receiver to my TV via my HDMI over CAT5 baulms, it works fine. If run it the same way except swapping the baulms out with a RapidRun cable I get no video. If I hook my Tivo up directly to the RapidRun cable bypassing my receiver I get video to my TV.

Sounds to me like there's something flaky with your RapidRun dealie.
