upgraded, now what?

I have upgraded to an HD! All seems well, but what have people done with their series 2 Tivos? Has anybody tinkered or striped it for parts. Can I drop the 80 hour hard drive into a Mac or PC?
Has anyone found an interesting way to repurpose them, like as a music server to my stereo?
The one thing I don't want is to pay for a subscription and get non-HD Tivo. Has anyone reused other parts?
Their is no market on Craigslist and eBay barely has any sales. I don't even know if I can donate them, suggestions?

The hard drives on Series 1 and 2 TiVo's are standard IDE drives, so if your PC uses them then yes they can be reformatted and reused for that purpose. Or buy a hard drive enclosure meant for use with IDE drives and use them as backup drives or portable drives.
