Kennedy Center Honors 12/26/07 Spoilers

Did anybody see the Kennedy Center Honors (http://www.kennedy-center.org/programs/specialevents/honors/)last night? What a great set of honorees this year.

The Brian Wilson honors at the end were especially poignant. Until you're presented with the body of his work you forget how important he was to the progression of rock and roll. I loved Lyle Lovett's "God Only Knows". Fantastic tribute!

It was one of the best in recent years and I agree, the honorees were great! The honorers too! Minor disappointment for me that Yo-Yo Ma did not perform, as I was hoping, but I still enjoyed every moment. Loved the descent of all the "beach" balls for Brian Wilson - a lovely lighthearted touch.
