Hi, I have a 50" Samsung DLP and just hooked up a new Tivo HD unit (though I had the following problem with my old Tivo S2 unit as well). I've been able to program the remote to control the TV's volume, mute and power (I think I used the 0305 code). And I can get the TV's INPUT menu to come up by using the INPUT button on the Tivo remote. However, I can't change the inputs (i.e. move around on the input menu to change to other TV inputs) using the Tivo remote. So I can bring up the TV's input menu using the Tivo remote, but can't actually change to another input using the Tivo remote. I have to use the TV's remote to do so. Are there other codes that might fix this (I tried all of them on the Tivo's "remote control setup" screens for INPUT)? Or is there some trick to moving around on the input screen that I haven't figured out (I've tried using the Tivo's directional button, Vol, Chan, << and >> with no luck). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Unfortunately the TV Input button only works on TVs that use an input button to toggle thru input selections. If you use the directional keys to move thru the input list (as yours does) you have to use the tv remote, or get a universal remote.

Shucks. Well, at least that makes sense. Thanks for your help.
