Bought a new dual tuner S2 TIVO for Xmas. I have 3 other S2 TIVOs on my home network and one computer running Desktop 2.5.1. All are connected over a wireless network that's been running for years.
I'm having a baffling problem, and after 2 days of working on it and doing research, can't find a solution. Here are the symptoms:
The new S2 cannot see any of the other S2's, but can see and transfer files from the computer just fine.
The old S2's can see the new S2, but claims that there are shows available.
The computer can see, and transfer files from both the new and old TIVOs.
All of the TIVO's can access and download things (i.e. games, pics, etc..) from the TIVO program guide over the Internet.
It's been almost 48 hours now since the new TIVO was activated. I've rebooted all of the TIVO's in the house, but that makes no difference.
Any ideas? I really want to have the ability to share/transfer recordings between all of my TIVOs.
Any pointers/hints would be appreciated.
Thanks
