I've got three Tivos: Two Series 2 (single tuner) and a Series 3. Call them S2a, S2b, and S3.
I can transfer in either direction between S2a and the S3 (standard def recordings, of course). I can transfer from ALL THREE to my computer. But I can't transfer from S2b to either S2a or S3.
The error message I get when trying to transfer says the source Tivo couldn't be found, but that's not the case. All three Tivos see the others, and the computer, and the computer sees them all.
When I try to transfer from S2b to one of the others the transfer does start--I can generally watch the first 20-30 seconds. But if I go back to and watch live TV, or some other show, and then return later to check on the download, it has failed.
All 3 Tivos have been rebooted in the last couple of days.
Any thoughts or suggestions of what to check next?
