Does anybody know when/where this originally aired? It's on right now, and it has a 12/25/07 OAD.. So I suspect it was a PPV event or something originally?
They did another live event I believe on Thanksgiving last year.. I don't think this is the same one. (That is, I do think that the Thanksgiving event really was live.)
I have an autorecording wishlist for poker, so I think I would've seen this if it aired under another name previously.
It is old -- they talk about the recently concluded WSOP, and the host says it's brought to us by "Wedding Crashers", in theaters July 15th!!! (Yow, I didn't realize Wedding Crashers was a 2005 movie!!)

Wow, I tried to do a Google search on this and it's strange. The strangest thing is that this thread is already showing on Google. That's amazing!!
I saw results for 2005 and 2006. Haven't seen anything for 2007 yet. And I haven't seen anything about the actual broadcasts yet.

Thanks. Maybe I wasn't too clear, but what I meant is that now, on Fox Sports Bay Area (and I suspect all around the country on the other Fox Sports channels), there is this "FullTilt.net Championship".
The Tivo says it's a new show (original airdate today), but it's clearly from mid-2005 (from the movie reference). I'm not sure if I actually saw it previously, so I don't care too much. If I eventually see something that I remember seeing, then I'll stop watching.
Maybe this is just Fox Sports giving out bad guide data to Tribune. The Poker SuperStars II has been re-airing as 'new' lately but it's a few years old (there was already a Poker SuperStars III).
Since there was at least one previous live poker showing, I had thought this was a new tournament. But it's not. (Fox Sports seems to have given up on poker, which admittedly has gone past its peak... but it still is presumably cheap to produce and gets good ratings, at least for ESPN. Fox Sports used to have at least one new poker show a week, rotating between different tournaments.)

I've only watched around half of it so far (halfway paying attention), and they reran the same segment twice.. So they presumably skipped part of it. Not a big deal since it's obviously a rerun.
