How do I connect my Pc TV Card to HR21?

OK, I finally got my HD about a month ago but have a problem I think. I have a TV card in my computer which I have always had connected via coax from my old r10 unit's coax output. Works fine. I kept the R10 box connected when they hooked up the new hr21 to kind of help me transition away from Tivo. I would like to get rid of the R10 and run my PC/TV Card off the HR21 along with my tv. I have an S-Video input on the pc card but won't the HR21 put out the 1080i signal if I use that output from the HR21? The HR21 also runs the Family room TV and is connected to the TV VIA HDMI so I don't want to dumb down the resolution just so I can see a little screen in the corner of my computer. I know the TV card on the pc is not HD, any chance that the signal from the HR21 also carries regular tv signal and it will work using the S-Video output from the HR21? Will the HR21 output simutaneously from both the HDMI and S-Video?
Help! Any solutions you guys and gals know that aren't too technical? I watch at least 70% of my tv from my PC so this is a big deal for me.

I'm not sure of the answer to your question, but I understand that all outputs are live all the time from the HR20/21, and I can point you in the direction of more help...

Thanks Tony. Just an FYI, according to the guys at DBS, the s video on the hr20/21 is always hot and always puts out an sd signal. I hooked it up and it's working fine.

I believe S-video can only carry standard definition signal (480i to 576i)
