Wow, two days after the airing and no thread? Where's the Nip/Tuck love...or hate? :p

I enjoyed this episode (but then I've enjoyed them all).

So, what did Eden put in the fruitcake? I was thinking we were supposed to believe it was sinister, then I was expecting to see that it was almond flavoring or something...but then when Julia kept feeling weird, it had to be something.

And how long before all the people play switcheroo and end up with who they want... Christian and Julia, Olivia and Liz, Sean and Eden...

Has it been mentioned why Julia and Olivia and fam are in Cali now? I thought they were there on vacation (remember, Connor was being watched by the grandmother or something) but now it seems they live there...did I miss something?

I LOL's at the carolers... when the one was telling the story of what happened while the others softly hummed an accompanying xmas tune in the background. "I speak Crip".

Maybe when Eden took away the fruit cake to "save it for later" she was deciding that she didn't want Julia to eat anymore since Julia invited her to xmas? Wasn't very clear to me.

Not sure why Julia and Olivia are there, still, either.

Last couple seasons, they dragged out specific conflicts between the characters *forever*. Noticing that this season, when somebody gets pissed, it only seems to last 10 minutes.

Wonder what happened with Julia's / Sean's daughter? Thought they were going to go further with Eden trying to influence her. But now she seems to have been banished to whatever island young Oliver goes to when they want us to forget that Christian is a dad when he isn't naked in his condo and has girl there.

I too was wondering what was in the cake. My guess was it was some sort of love potion, as Julia seemed like she was acting flirty around Christian and Sean.

She seemed SO sure that Julia was getting back together with her mother that my guess is the cake was so Julia would feel all flirty around Eden's mom and that would bring them back together. I think. :confused:

I know Nip/Tuck is usually supposed to be weird, but its supposed to be weird in the way that you know what is going on instead of the way where you don't.

EDIT: I believe the McNamaras are in California because earlier Eden corrupted the daughter, and the daughter wanted to go to Eden's schoolgirl outfit prep school (mmm... Eden in a skirt.... :: drooling).

I was hoping Matt was dead - he is just a waste. And they need to cut Kimber out as well - she's a porn star again - woohoo. Boring.

they should have had matt die for shock effect. That would have taken people by surprise. So are the boys done with that doctor show? it's barely mentioned and i forget but doesnt sean have that crappy girlfriend or did they split up?

Last year they had the show about where they were ten years in the future.
Matt became a doctor. So the whole burn thing seems like a transition towards that.

Regarding the fruitcake, I think its a slow poison and she will have to have some life saving transplant surgery in a few episodes.

I too am trying to remember why she is hanging around california so long. The show makes you forget about time frames because its only an hour but they have patients healing which can take many weeks so its not clear to me how long she has actually been there and away from her baby.

I enjoyed the episode... I thought the caroling of Frosty when he was leaving after being shot was funny. I also thought the scene of Santa being shot in a mall as being funny.

Guess it tells you a lot about me.

They need to revisit the reality show - that was great. And Connor was there with the other kids at the end of the episode... but where HAS he been?

This shows are just more and more ridiculous each week, so why do I keep on watching.

I, too, laughed at the caroling when Frosty was being carried out.

I like how the answer to any crisis is plastic surgery.

Speaking of Julia/Jolie the one thing that drives me nuts whenever I see her is her NOSE.

I guess I am impressed she hasn't succumbed to shortening. Ironic given this show is all about plastic surgery.

Having just watched the first 4 seasons and all episodes of this season over the past month (yes I am bored at work at night) I've noticed a couple of wholes in the storylines. I have no idea why they are in CA either. I also don't know what happened to Santiago (the shrink) from season 1.

I was wondering where the daughter was when the next moment they pan down to the table and show her playing with I guess Conner, and the black kid. I totally forgot about Christian's son.

At first, I thought maybe it was some fertility drug so Julia would get knocked up with Christian's baby - again. Julia had all the TV pregnancy signs - tired, sickly, etc.

Now I am not so sure and even less sure if I care.

It appears that Christian shaves his chest on occasion and then lets it grow out based on the scenes of his stubbly chest this episode. Ladies, how does that work for you? About as good as stubbly cheeks and/or stubbly legs?

Having just watched the first 4 seasons and all episodes of this season over the past month (yes I am bored at work at night) I've noticed a couple of hoes in the storylines.
