A family member has a S1 lifetime and a HDTivo on the MSD plan. He will be converting his home network to wireless, after Christmas, and will be getting the Tivo USB wireless adapter. He is going to want to use UNBOX and the other downloading features for his HDTivo. The S1 will stay on the phone line. My understanding is that in order to do this he will have to set up his info via the web by creating an account in the Tivo My Account site. Tivo already has his credit card info for the monthly MSD payments. So basically what does he have to do in the web account setup? Just list his TSN numbers and provide a name for the HDTivo, or will he have to enter his Credit Card info again. In order for Unbox to work I believe it has to be able to link to his account settings. Or is none of this necessary and Amazon will be linkable regardless of setting up the account info since Tivo already has it.
