No sound using Vista Media Center

This may have been covered, but I get no audio when using Media Player 11 (Vista Home Premium) to watch My Tivo Recorded movies. Also, How do I play My Tivo Recorded movies on Vista media Center?

What kind of TiVo do you have? If it's a DVD unit or a HD unit then you probably need something to decode AC3 audio. Try AC3 Filter, it's free and works well for me.

As for playing your TiVo files in media center... You can publish the My TiVo Recordings folder and play the TiVo files. However MCE does not allow FF/RW on TiVo files, so you'll have to play them all the way through. Although if you have VideoReDo you can convert them to DVR-MS files and that will make it so they can be FF/RW.
