View Full Version : Jargon (acronym) Explanations

Glancing over a number of posts, most include acronyms of which I am clueless.
There needs to be a thread topic that states the acronyms (in alpha order, of course), and their definitions such that a newbie can have some idea what is being discussed - otherwise, people need to start using a word followed by an acronym in parenthesis when first used in each post. The clueless would otherwise remain as such.

I agree, except I have an advantage. My husband posts here so when I see one I just ask him. Sometimes I try to figure them out and my guesses are usually right.

I'm sorry. All these acronyms mess my poor little mind up. How do you even spell "dbs", anyway?
(Sorry, I have difficulty dialing 911 even if someone spots me the "9") :D
