Can't record on itv1 terrestrial

Whenever i set tivo to record on the terrestrial ITV channel, it records from sky 103, but if i am watching on ITV 25(aer) and manually press record, then it will record the right channel. i have the correct aerial channel number selected in "channels i recieve", actually it's the only frequency strong enough to hold the channel anyway
None of the other aeriel channels do this, ive been recording buzzcocks on bbc2 22(aer) with no bother.

I thought it could have been this. My tivo too has 2 versions for sky's 103, Wales and Granada. Tivo always chooses Wales even though Granada is above it in the list?

anyone know if there is anyway to fix this or it is the same known bug?

I myself in my set-up only have the Sky channels in "Channels I Receive".

Thus it never tries to use the UHF tuner which does not even have an aerial cable connected.

Also of course you only select the correct BBC1, ITV etc that your Sky box receives (pick one 101, 103, etc only).

For me BBC1 SouthEast & ITV Merdian.

That would be a bit of a problem, i don't really want to remove the UHF channels from channels i recieve because i live in a shared house so try to record on terestrial if possible to free up sky for others

TiVo will always record from the best possible source when it has two options, which it determines by the higher channel number (it's assumption is that 100+ means Sky, and Sky via an RGB SCART will be better than RF).

BBC 2 has several versions, and the chances are the version on Sky is different to the version on RF, so TiVo treats them as separate.

I see, i'll just have to let tivo get on with it, and TCM you are right, the aerial recieves BBC2 Wales wheres Sky transmits BBC2W. not much difference between them, the occasional show.

Wouldn't it be simple to untick 103 from your 'Preferred Channels' which should then force TiVo to recored from (aer)?
