help with TiVo Desktop Plus

I'm trying to view some WMV files on my TiVo. I am on a Mac but running WinXP in an emulator. I purchased the $25 TiVo Desktop Plus. I can't get my Windows to appear in my TiVo Now Playing.

FAQs on TiVo.com say that this feature is not available on Series3 machines. Is this so? I thought Series3 does full TiVoToGo now?

Either way, shouldn't I at least be able to "see" my Windows box within TiVo? I can't even do that.

Hm... any tips to get the TiVo to see Windows? I turned of sharing on the Mac, I turned off the Window firewall, I rebooted the TiVo... nothing worked.
