Why do upcoming suggestions get deleted upon reboot?

I use suggestions to monitor space. This morning i rebooted to try to clear out another problem i had. Then about 1 hr later i decided to check what suggestions were going to record today. The page had a long message that ended by saying if you dont see suggestions its' probably because your record recently restarted. Which is true.

so why dont suggestions set to record 'survive' a reboot?

Maybe that's the technique they use to clear the list and start over. If so, it seems like it would make more sense to just have a checkbox that you could click to reset the list.

At least they tell you what happened.

ok now this sucks. There was only 1 suggestion set to record this morning. Last night i checked and there were NINE pages set to record on sunday alone but the times on some of them already had passed and they werent recorded. so bizarre. And even before all this i already had a few pages set to record.

So why would all the suggestions just stop recording all of a sudden and be deleted off the 'todo list?

ok i realized this only started happening when i plugged in the line for a daily call....and rebooted and am back to just one suggestion to be recorded...letterman

i checked this morning and 2 suggestions did record overnight. So maybe this will start recording them more regularly now. it's kinda scary not knowing how much space you have on here.
