I've had my TiVoHD with SA cablecards on Cox since August with no issues, but since the latest 9.2 update I've noticed some missing channels after a while, usually various network HD. During this time some other channels will be working fine. All menus and recorded shows work as expected. New recordings on channels which are blank fail, and browsing to the channel live just shows a black screen, though I can see guide information. Rebooting the TiVo cures the issues for a few days, but then it comes right back again. Are there any kind of stats I can gather to help narrow down the issue?

You need to verify that both of your cablecards are working using the Test Channels function. It sounds like one of your cards isn't working correctly.

Strange, i'm having a similar issue with one of my channels. However, it's an OTA channel and a reboot doesn't fix it; no CC here, just OTA. At first i thought it was a bad signal, but strength meter shows a constant 70%. Just thought it was the channel broadcast was messing up. Now i'm think it's probably Tivo. Anyone else have a similar issue?

Sorry I forgot to mention it, my SA cablecard is an Mcard. When in a 'working' state both tuners work great, I can record two shows at once. In a 'broken' state, neither tuner can pick up certain channels, though they both work fine for other.

I had this happen a few days ago -- all HD channels disappeared (I have Cablevision in NY and they are all in the 700's). The message "cable signal not available" appeared. All other channels and the guide worked fine.

I looked at Cablecard settings and it indicated they were working OK.

I selected Diagnostics from the Tivo menu and after 15 minutes of the hour glass, I pulled the plug. After reboot, everything worked fine (including Diagnostics which came up in a second).

It appears to have just been my Tivo unit and not the cable system. I'm a member of a Cablevision Yahoo group and if all the HD channel were out, there would have been dozens of angry messages.

I have Brighthouse and have just started experiencing this. Both cc show blank, diagnostics indicate that they are tuning fine. A reboot does nothing. My cable company has begun deploying ADS so it could be related to that. But there seems to be a lot more this on the boards recently....

My analog channels are all blank, while the HD channels arecoming in great. Used to be the other way around. If it has to be screwed up, I'd rather it be this way - at least I'm watching HD.

Hmm, does a reboot get your analogs back? Do you know if your analogs are being digitally simulcast?

Your problem may be Cablevision. You might want to checkout this thread. http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=373746
