Hi,

A while back, i found some posts about how to wire things so that you can access the tivo in your living room from the tv in your bedroom (without a tivo).

can you still do this? it might have involved using a RF remote, and some special wiring. if you can do this, could someone point me to the how-to?

Thanks!

The way that I did this in the past was to run a line from the Out to TV coax line to the tv in the other room. Then, I used one of the RF adapter things that is a battery that goes in your remote. Too easy...

Yes and have HD In Both rooms too! The Tivo HD Video is displayed on HDMI and Component at the same time so you can run a long (I used Coax with adapters for RCA) Component cable with the analog audio out to another tv.

You can then Use a Niles RCA3 infrared repeater to control all your componenets from another room.
No need to have all your electronics by the TV anyway.. too many wires and clutter, especially if it hangs on the wall.

I have it set up and works perfectly!
