Hello
I recieved the message this morning in the mailbox, (dvr service not activated error 81) call dtv etc
However everythings still working fine, Ive read others getting the message but have no picture or cant record ,have no season pass etc
What Im asking is should I just leave it or is it going to stop working, and this was a early warning so to speak. The phone is Not plugged in(explained below)
Some background, Its a Hughes sd dvr 40, series 2
I upgraded the hard drive back in sept after having freezing/rebooting etc after 6.3 update was installed
new drive is @ 6.2 and the phoneline is NOT plugged in, so as to not update
because I dont know if my old drive went bad or if 6.3 cause my problems like many others think, I just figured 6.2 was a safer way to go
So is dtv just looking for my dvr to call in? and I can just ignore it so long as everythings still operating normal
or will I start having problems?
