My tivo has been working fine for the past couple years, and it even was last night when i was watching recorded programs. Since last night i've altered nothing with connections, cables, etc. and, to the best of my knowledge, there hasn't been any sort of power short or outage in my house in this time.

But today, when i turned on my tv, there was only a black screen. I checked the tivo and, although you could hear the fan running and presumably everything else inside, neither of the lights in the front were on. Even when I would press buttons on my tivo remote, no lights on the front came on (not even the small yellow window light).

I don't know how the tivo seems to have turned non-functional after one night, when nothing was altered. Any help would be appreciated, including phone numbers to call or websites to visit.

Thanks.

EDIT: I've also made sure all the cables were plugged in all the way, and ive tried shutting the power on and off. No help.

Pull the plug on the TiVo, wait 30 seconds, then plug it in. Have the TV on and set to see the TiVo. Listen to the TiVo closely to see if the hard disk is spinning up. If you get no LEDs, no signal, and can't hear the drive, you may have a power supply problem.
