Deleting the wrong recording

I keep running into this on my 540 S2 with v9.1. I go to delete a recording by choosing delete now from the program info screen and after it deletes and brings me back to the NPL, the recording is still there, but the recording just below it on the NPL is gone. If I recover that recording and try to delete the recording the same way again, the wrong program gets deleted a second time. This even happens in the recently deleted folder. I deleted 2 1/2 Men from the NPL, but a Roy Orbison special was deleted instead. Then I deleted 2 1/2 Men successfully. I went to the recently deleted folder and chose to permanently delete 2 1/2 Men, but the Roy Orbison special that I intended to recover was permanently deleted instead.
In the last two weeks, I've seen this happen four times. I searched a little but didn't see this problem come up. I can't be the only one with this problem or am I?

It sounds like one of the software queues is messed up. try rebooting the TiVo (pull the plug, wait 20 secs. plug back in) and see if that clears it up.

This is one of many known 9.1 defects that I and others experience almost daily. I haven't had a problem with it deleting the wrong program though.

Does 9.3 fix this problem?

This is getting really really annoying. I deleted a suggestion (it didn't delete but I didn't notice) and then went to the RDF to permanently delete it. I see there's 1 item in the folder, but when I open it, it's a recording that I had just transfered to the DT Tivo. I recover it and try again. The same thing happens. I try with a different suggestion and yep, it does the same thing. So I delete two suggestions. The first one doesn't delete (the transfer delets instead as expected) and the second one deletes. I go to the RDF and recover the transfered recording again and then permanently delete the other suggestion. It doesn't delete. The transfered recording is now gone from the NPL and the RDF. For no good reason I try to recreate this on my 240. The exact same behavior and it's just as repeatable.

Offhand I don't recall seeing this with 9.1 on my Single Tuner S2, and my S2DT (which does mess up lists) hasn't received 9.3 yet.

BTW, I did see another list-handling screwup in 9.3. As I recall it involved paging down through a long list in a remote TiVo's NPL; at the bottom screen of the list the cursor ends up at a different place in the list than you'd expect.
