All Of My Premium Channel Movies Are Copywrighted And Can't Transfer Them To My Computer. I Have The Hd Tivo Dvr. How Do I Know If I Have The Right Cable Cards. All Of The Premium Channels Shouldn't Be Copywrighted. How Do I Solve This Problem So I Can Transfer The Movies To My Computer?

Cablecards do not generate the copy protection scheme, that is done at the cable head end. Contact your cable provider and complain, however, i do believe that they have a right to copy protect the premium channels, and most of them do.

Actually, a great many if not most of them do not. Many of them do it without really knowing it because there are so few cablecard customers. I would contact the cable company--- an engineer in the local office, NOT customer service, and discuss it with them. Preferably, without everything capitalized.
