Rerunning the setup guide - Will I lose season passes

I need to rerun the setup guide on my series 2 tivo to add satellite as another video source in addition to my existing cable source. I really don't want to lose my manual recording and season pass recording information. Could someone who has done this before tell me what will happen?

It will not affect your scheduled recordings one bit. In fact, you could rerun Guided Setup in another state and change time zones, cable providers, and channel lineups, and your season passes would pretty much automatically transfer.

This is true except for networks. While the TiVo will move your 'SCIFI' passes to the new 'SCIFI', and the 'DISC' passes to the new 'DISC', it does not properly move from WXXX to WYYY if those are your old and new local Foxes, if the channel name is different.

In your case, I don't know if you'll be having any issue with that. If there are some local channel name changes, you may have to some re-setup, but most of it should come through alright.
