All of a sudden this evening TiVo stopped responding to IR commands. This was on our Mosaic All For One remote, which was operating everything else correctly so I got our original TiVo remote and that was also struggling, sometimes commands would work instantly, other times there would be a delay but mostly neither remote would get a reaction.
Does anyone have any ideas what the problem might be? I struggled to get to the menu to force a reboot but that had no effect. I even wiped the little black display in case that was dirty.
It's a UK model that had the two hard drives replaced with one big one two years ago. That's the only mods it's had. It hasn't been moved recently and I think all of the other remotes are on a shelf out of harms way (which is why we have the Mosaic All For One - a) it's massive so hard to loose and b) if you do loose it it's only one thing to hunt for!).
