TiVo HD recordings to SD receiver?

I just took TiVo up on their offer for a TiVo HD which I will add to my home networked TiVo Series 3. I record a lot of movies on the S3 in HD that I will want to play on the TiVo HD unit when I get it set up in another room, using the Multi-room viewing option.

However, the TV that the TiVo HD will be connected to is not an HDTV. Just a plain old television. For now, anyway.

So, the question: is there any way to get those HD recordings to show up on the SD TeeVee? A simple composite or 'S' video connector, perhaps?

Understood the quality will suffer, obviously, I just wonder if it can be done

s video or rca composite will work fine to output anything on your hd tivo to a non hd tv

If they are both HD models, yes you can transfer HD between them, regardless of the set used.
