Consolidating Recordings

Howdy
I've got 2 completely stock HR10-250's. I'll be zippering them soon (yea, im excited), but unfortunately I've managed to pull a disappearing act on my USB Ethernet adapter. (an older Linksys model). Anyway, I've backed up the partitions with Symantec Ghost, I was just curious if it was possible to copy/move recordings from one STB to the other.

You can't transfer recordings from one box to another unless they've both been hacked, since the recordings are encrypted (unless you decrypt them). There is a special kernel over at "the other forum" that can be used to decrypt them on the original box, making them portable. Use the boot cd or winmfs from mfslive.org in the future for backup/restore purposes.
