Can you do transfers between a series 2 and 3 Tivo

Just installed my first HD Tivo. Already have two Series 2 boxes. At this time a cannot see my computer or other boxes on the HD TIVO. Will an update resolve this??

Also can HD programming be transferred/watched to a series 2 box?

Very likely your new TiVo HD still has software that is pre-9.1, or whatever release that allowed MRV and TTG. Just wait and it will update itself soon, or search the threads (or wait for someone else to respond) to find out how to force it to update sooner.

You need 9.1 or later on all the boxes, and they need on the same account, with transfers enabled.

No, you cannot transfer HD to a Series 2.
