Think it will be offered to non "friends and family" of comcast workers before the new year begins?

It seems likely, assuming Motorola can fix their download capability.

According to this forum: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=682350&page=85

It got released today.

"FYI: Here in my area on the OnDemand Help and Services page there are 2 videos on Comcast TiVo features, 3 and 5 minutes each. It says no appt neccessary- just d/l it to your old box. Although how you're supposed to do that and get the TiVo remote too without a service call or going to the office is beyond me..."

Done and downloaded. Took about 30 minutes but it is working. Lost all of my recordings because he had to reset the box twice to get the download down. But soon after I saw the "sunrise", I'm in business. I'll try to find a way to get some screen shots online. But it says Comcast on one side and Tivo on the other. First thing I noticed is that the guide runs slower.

Can you offer where you live???

So how did it work out for you? I am particularly interested on how recording works with On Demand? Do season passes include On Demand content? Does it store the recorded video just like the other videos (or does it expire in 24 hours)? Does the rewinding and fast forwarding work as smoothly as recorded Tivo? Can you season pass premium On Demand content? E.g Howard Stern?

Thanks.
