Availability official thread?

Given the availability checker can people post when areas are / are not availabile? should we have such a thread?

Seattle 98034 is not acive for Comcast Tivo.

It might make more sense to have the first message in the thread list each locality (in order via Zip Code perhaps), and its status. Are you willing to maintain the message like that, on an ongoing basis? (Does this software even allow you to edit messages days later?)
