Denver delays prime time, so if they cancel their 5pm local news and go right to 60 Minutes, TAR will be on time.

Chicago on the other hand, it'll be on 56 minutes late.

Here in Utah, our 5pm news would have been 55 seconds long, so they just cancelled it and had me fill with promos until 60 Minutes started.
I'm on a 3 1/2 minute delay, oh the wonders of technology.

Im in MN and TAR was 55 mins late, I chaned my 30 min pad to an hour. This is rediculous, CBS should consider doing something.

They did back when the football season started.
At least for the double header Sundays, which today was.

Don't know why they didn't keep with that plan once TAR started.

Didn't that plan involve a 90-minute "60 Minutes" starting at 7:30 Eastern in the Eastern and Central time zones, with a 60-minute "60 Minutes" followed by a repeat of something-or-other (or was it a 2-hour "60 Minutes"?), starting at 7:00 Pacific in the Mountain and Pacific time zones? I assume the big problem with doing this now is that they don't want to skip any weeks with "The Amazing Race." And, of course, that plan would go out the window anyway if a game didn't end until 7:55 Eastern. :D

Ya, 90 minute 60 Minutes in the East and Central, 2 hour 60 Minutes in the Mountain and Pacific.

I don't think ratings would suffer much if they did that, pushed TAR back an hour in place of Cold Case, then into Shark.
They'll have plenty of chances to air the Cold Case's that are already written and produced, with the strike going on.

What's TAR?

If you don't know, you probably don't have to worry about whether or not your TiVo records it. :D

TAR is "The Amazing Race."
