communication problem with wireless

:mad:zippered the DTV dvr drive and it would not work. restored it as suggested here and wow, it worked great. booted right up and then rebooted and all was ok. now its time to issue the commands telnet -t vt100 192.168.1.104 and got a "cannot connect response" shut of the firewall, reset the wireless router, took out all the passwords on the wireless, turned of all security, rebooted the tivo and nothing happened. still no connection. reinstalled the system completely and zippered it again. came up and works fine. tried to ping it at 192.168.1.104 with no results. cannot communicate to run the cd/hacks: shtweak.sh commands and finish up. I have a DirectTV DVR80, using a genuine tivo wireless adapter that worked just fine on my other series 2 40 hour box. the light is on, on the wireless connector and the following info was put into the zipper as a configuration.
tivo ip 192.168.1.104 used to avoid problems with 102 and 103 wireless computers
server address 192.168.1.1
dds for router is "linksys_OW_60469" works with all other wireless computers (3)
have booted tivo several times, reset the routher several times. no connection to the tive what so ever. any ideas on this bugger. I have checked everything i can think of with no success. cannot get to the bash-2.02# prompt to run the hacks..

What software are you running? Wireless G adapters will only work with 6.3x software, regardless of how the box has been hacked. In the future, post these type of questions in the Underground subforum. This forum doesn't get as much "hacking" traffic.

I have a wireless g linksys wireless router, The wireless usb connected to the tivo is a tivo AGO100 tivo usb wireless that works with the other tivo box i have. If you are refuring to the software on the tivo (DirectTV DVR) that software version is 6.2a-01-2-321 If this version will not run the wireless usb properly can the software be updated to version 6.3xxx and if so, where can that be obtained. I only see one version on DVRupgrade site. That is where I got the instacake recovery software when it crashed the first time.

PS where can I find the Underground subforum >>>>here somewhere ? can you provide a link to it and the 6.3x image or direct me to where i can go
