booting the Direct TV tivo

today i used the zipper and ran it on the directv hard drive. all went well with the process. put it backin the unit and booted it up. I have the screen that says "Welcom Powering Up" and it has simply stayed on that screen for about an hour. should i wait for the process to finish or has something gone amuck??
How long does bootup for the first time take??

It shouldn't take that long. I suggest that you unplug the unit, wait 30s and then plug it back in. If it still stalls, then the Zipper update didn't take. You'll may have to re-image the drive.
