For a bit there, I wondered if 13 was faking the symptoms. We've already seen House speculate she's being mysterious because she hopes House will be attracted to the mystery. Maybe faking an unsolvable illness would make him keep her around? Nice twist to find out House was the one faking them. "Maybe you never dated me."
I'm with House: it's cooler to know.
Going to miss Big Love though. I wonder if Chase and Cameron are really just going to end up "someone else in the hospital" and not on the team after all. I, for one, find the whole "hiring a new team" thing to be interesting, and a way to keep the show fresh and new, even if the "guest appearances" of Chase and Cameron are feeling awfully forced sometimes.

You know, when the whole team quit last season, at first I was shocked. But now, I'm even hoping they find a way to get rid of Foreman again. Bring on the new team!
Unfortunately, in trying to look up something about one the actors, I just found out who wins. Be warned, the spoilers are out there.

The info on who the ultimate new team is going to be has been out there since before the season started.
I think it's funny that the first time he has a Lupus patient is the one time it's never brought up during the differential diagnosis.

This episode I started to dislike House. Now, I still like the show, but the whole "Bring me the panties of Lisa Cuddy" thing and when he said "Hike up your skirt, or hike down your skirt" to the one doctor, I just couldn't follow along with that. It was a good show, but if he said that, he would be sued so fast his head would spin.
And who the hell would inject blood from a sick patient into themselves???

He should've been sued a looooong time ago.

The blood was from the blood bank, it wasn't blood from the sick patient. It just happened to be the same batch of blood that was given to the sick patient.

About time. He has never been a likeable character.

If we are going for reality he should have been sued, fired and lost his medical license probably from the first episode. If it hasn't bothered you yet i don't know why the stuff in this episode would bother you. This probably wasn't even him at his worst. I think he has done and said worse things in other episodes.

Some think it was a shout out to the fans who have long complained that lupus is always at the top of the DDX list.

I pointed out to my girlfriend last week that they always guess some form of cancer and amyloidosis as well. Both were guessed this week too.

I pointed out to my girlfriend last week that they always guess some form of cancer and amyloidosis as well. Both were guessed this week too.And an episode's not complete unless someone says "neoplastic syndrome". House is a good show, but the writers follow such a formula that it's hard to watch sometimes. You know that the patient is going to crash, bleed out his eyes, or stop breathing exactly 38 seconds after they give him the first treatment of the episode. After all this time you'd think one of the doctors would say, "Hey, maybe we shouldn't do this because the first treatment always nearly kills the patient."

Yeah, but then whatever they tried next would still be the first treatment.

I think what I like most about the show is that it's so not full of politically correct crap. I'm really tired of how you can't say anything because it might offend someone. GO HOUSE!

I caught up on House tonight and thought it was an interesting but not outstanding episode. There seemed like room for a lot more fun and drama.
I did like the one line "I have seen pictures of your son, he's going to need braces."
