"Lela's":

This was my least favorite episode out of what I think was just a dismal season! This show is truly a satire of the original. I'm not expecting it to ever be as good but come on! Buzzard? Would anyone really hire that guy at a "fine dinning " restaurant! And the "executive chief" that looks like they found while the producers of the show visited an Arby's drive through! This episode was a total joke! I just hope they don't show this version in the UK because if relations are stressed now this show will shatter them. I'm watching this show thinking this makes us (Americans) look like idiots!

The sad thing is I love the UK version it appearers to be an honest show with real people and situations. If this show isn't fake God help us all!

When motivated the executive chef could run a kitchen, not the kid that could tell the difference between beef and pork. Running a kitchen is a big part of being an executive chef, however the menu is another, frozen mint chocolate lamb???

I felt sorry for the owner when they reported that the resturant had to close anyway. Too bad she couldn't find a financial partner until this episode aired. I am sure she could keep it open now.

Judging from the amount of post from last week to this seems like this show is DOA!

I sort of liked this show, then I saw the English version on BBC America. The English version is soooo much better. He actually gives constructive criticism and genuinely try's to help the owner/staff.

I am sure he is trying to help the owners of the ones on the US version, but it seems that the production staff is picking the biggest moron owners who hire the most lazy, narcissistic, attention loving idiots they can find to put on the show, I am sure it is the producers, not Gordon choosing these clowns for ratings, and Gordon does the best he can with what he is given.

Why do the producers of these reality shows think the American public wants to see the lowest common denomonator of our society made fun of by snobby British people? Didn't we declare our independence from England a long time ago?
