I know.. This sounds insane. I received an HR10-250 for free from a friend. I have a Hughes HDVR2 Tivo already, and I'd like to be able to do MRV (Multi-room viewing) between the two. Since MRV doesn't seem to work with the HR10, I am wondering if it would be possible to apply a hack to run the system on my HDVR2 on the HR10 in order to allow MRV between the two? I am looking at ptvnet upgrade on both machines in order to allow MRV.
I don't need the HD section of the HR10 as I don't have an HD television. I plan on keeping the original drive safe so that if I needed to I can go back to it.
Any advice would be appreciated!!
