A few months ago my neighbor got a new R-15 with the code they had online for a free R-15. One day we were talking about how DTV screwed up the Premier Package by elimanating the free DVR fee. So we started talking about DVR fees. Anyway I don't remember why we started to compare our paper bills....,this is one reason I keep paper bills...I notice her DVR shows on her statement as an "Additional" receiver! My statement shows "Leased" Does this mean that she has no commitment where as I do?

It means she owns the receiver, you do not.

Not all, they came out before Directv went to the equipment leasing program on 02/28/2006. anybody you got one before that date would own the receiver.

Or if it was a protection plan replacement for a owned Directv-Tivo, it should also be owned.
