Hi,
I have a wireless network in my house and would like my TiVo to use it instead of being hard wired direct to the router (I have a cachecard). Can anyone suggest what I should use. I'm a bit confused with all the terms. I think I need an access point. It must support WAP.
Thanks
Keith

Hi there!
I have a Netgear WGPS606 here that works perfectly well. I'm sure others will be along shortly to recommend their own ;)
(Oh and congrats on 100 posts :p)

Thanks,
I've just realised that I have one of those with my printer plugged into it! It is in a different room to the TiVo but it works (so well that I have forgotten about it) so I may get another (perhaps without the printer port).

Keith,
Not wanting to second guess you, but do you mean that it must support WPA rather than WAP? WPA is a security method used by wifi networks, where as WAP is the name given to the old/slow method of accessing the internet on a mobile phone.
Cheers,
Ian

Can't you just move it into the same room as the Tivo?

It's upstairs and the TiVo is downstairs. I don't want the printer downstairs as there is nowhere to put it. I can probably pick up one cheap on eBay.

I think I need an access point. You actually need a wireless bridge, but that is what a WGPS606 is.
