I decided to take the plunge to network my TIVO so I first took out my previously upgraded HD and copied it over to a new slightly larger drive so everything I was doing I was doing to a backed up drive. Long to short I had everything set up and working when I noticed that on certain stations on SAT 2 I get pretty severe pixelization much like happens when a thunderstorm passes through. When I check the signal strength both inputs appear identical but it only occurs on SAT 2. Even if I swap the cables the problem does not move to SAT 1 so it is not a cableing/connection issue that I can see. I am now back with the HD I started with and still no change. Any idea what I could have done to cause this? I was careful not to mess with anything inside the box other than the HD so I didn't do anything to the mainboard I am aware of. I am stumped at this point.

Are you using the S-Video connector? If so unplug it only use RCA Jacks. S video has been known to cause pixelization

It seems to have cleared up suddenly after I made the original post. I guess for now I will leave it alone as I still use this unit a lot more than I do the non-TIVO HD box from D*.
