I own a TiVo Dual Tuner machine on analog basic cable service. The machine is less than 1 year old and has a lifetime service subscription. Recently, the machine intermittantly has the following problem: pulsations, color distortion, and image distortion. Sometimes the problem lasts for hours. Sometimes it disappears if I unplug the electricity to the TiVo machine and let it reboot. What is the cause of this problem? The machine is under a 5-year extended warranty with a retail store. If the store has to "junk" the machine, will TiVo allow me to port the lifetime subscription onto a brand new identical model replacement machine? Thanks.
