Will Time Warner cable work with Tivo?

I'm considering switching from DishTV to Time Warner Cable, but I'm concerned if my Tivo will work with the TWC cable box. Does anyone have this set-up?

I've got a Series2 and will NOT get HD, just digital cable.

Series 1 and Series 2 TiVos do indeed work with cable and satellite boxes.

You'll have to use the TiVo's IR (InfraRed) blaster to control the channel changes on the box. I don't think there's a serial cable connection possible with TW boxes. (If there is, that'd be the better route to go...hard wired.)

I have a series 2 dual tuner and it works just fine with TW. You need to tape the IR blaster in front of the cable box sensor (IF you plan on using a TW cable box) other than that, it is very straight forward.
