Ok i'm sure this has been beat to death but I'm new here. I have been trying to get two good working cable cards for 4 weeks now. I have exchanged my Tivo for a new because Comcast said it was probably defective. So now i'm back to where i started four weeks ago. I have two cable cards that work but I get no HD,digital, or premium channels. I've read that a lot of people have had the same problem but i haven't seen the solutions. Can somebody tell me what to tell Comcast so they can fix. I swear these guys are morons. All the do is keep hitting the cards but I'm pretty sure they are not activated but the say they are. PLease help

Did you do a channel test for each card and signal strength test ? I have two CC HD TiVos running without any problems.

Yes I had comcast install them but define proffessional. These guys are not well trained. They have been here about 3 times a week for 4 weeks now.

Make sure they have the CableCARD ID and the Host ID typed correctly, and in the right fields, in their system. When I was having problems getting a second card to work, it turned out that the tech on the line had swapped the two values.
