WMP in XP won't play Tivo files

My employer gave me a new laptop with XP on it, but now it won't play Tivo files. I have WMP 11 on her and have reinstalled both Tivo Desktop and WMP. I can download programs from my Tivo, but it won't play them. WMP opens and appears to play it, but the screen stays black.

Any advice out there?

You need an MPEG-2 codec like this one
