I hope this is a permitted topic. I am not talking about altering or converting ANY copywrite protected material, but I do have questions for general software use:

I am using the free version of Tivo Desktop, and I am looking to purchase a DVD burning program to use with the .Tivo files. I have seen several recommendations, and I am wondering if there is one that is easier to use for file editing and burning? The ones I have seen discussed so far are:

Sonic MyDVD
VideoRedo with Nero to Burn
DirectShowDump for conversion
Roxio Creator 9

Is there a clear winner for ease of editing and burning library files? Thanks for the advice - Mike.

VideoReDo TVSuite will be released any day now.

If you purchase VideoReDo plus now, you can upgrade it immediately to TVSuite for $20 (until the 11th)

Not sure what the final price of TV Suite will be, so not really clear if this is a good deal or not for a new customer.

I believe the retail price for TVSuite is going to be $80.* So it's a slightly better deal to get Plus and do the upgrade.

* I'm not part of the decision making with regard to price, so don't hold me to that.
