I have an old S1 from 2001 that has been happily chugging away with a TurboNET card. Over the past month, however, my TiVo has failed making the daily calls.
The first time I had this problem, it had failed for several days to make the daily call. I tried rebooting and power-cycling both the TiVo and the router, but it didn't. Then mysteriously, it just started working the next time, so I thought it was a fluke.
Then today I noticed that it had completely run out of guide data, so it had been unable to make a call for the past 10 days. I reset the TiVo, and it's okay now.
I'm guessing that the two are unrelated. The second failure is probably due to the time zone change. If that's true, then I don't know what cause the first failure.
Anyone have any ideas what's going on?
