I'm a "24" newbie -- I recently got hooked when A&E started airing the reruns beginning with Season 1. Now, I've gotten halfway through Season 5, and -- they cut me off! Suddenly, no more reruns, and nothing on A&E's website schedule, either.

Anyone heard what's going on? Dare I hope they will resume soon?
(Unfortunately, I recently stopped my Blockbuster subscription to save $.)

That is too bad... But it does appear that both WGN and at least my local ABC affiliate are airing reruns of 24 as well.

It looks like WGN is currently 18 episodes into season 4, so maybe they'll continue on to season 5 in a couple months or so, and you can pick up from there.

My local ABC affiliate (not sure if all ABC's are syndicating) is currently 7 episodes into season 5, so if yours is too, that might be even more helpful.

They may have just stopped due to ratings. I've heard that serials have particularly bad ratings in reruns (things like Lost/Heroes) which is why you rarely see them.
